... were staying at the farm as well. One night Blossom and I wandered up to the barn and spent a wonderful evening enjoying Cajun fiddle music. I have attached a great picture of two of the attendees who warmed up earlier that evening while sitting in the creek.

... and art studio that one could do pottery at. So we checked it out and yes, I got in a few hours of throwing!!! It was just in the neck of time, my hands were aching for the touch of wet clay.

We also learned a little about the strip mining down in the area . We did see the coke ovens where coke was made from the coal, which we found out that some steel plants use to this day. Nature grew over the stoves so one has to really look to see the coke ovens.

Christmas day was great..the house seems to get fuller every year. Addie and Landen were so great to watch..and Heath, of course. His batman robe was/is flattering. Haha. Christmas day at Grandma's was full of trains and Addie and Landen chasing the puppy all over..and of course..more food! :)
