      ... on making our way by Airport express and the subway - we took the A Train! We are staying in the apartment opposite my brother Mal and Hilary, in fabulously located Bleecker Street. Susan, an anthropologist who is currently on leave from NYU has kindly allowed us to stay in her apartment till Dec 31, when we will move across the hallway and occupy nephew Sean's room when he returns to Yale. Mal was cooking when we arrived, and he prepared a great dinner, with Sean and Lauren ...

      So the first tattoo convention we went to was in Reading pennsylvania and was a good time! The second giant one however was in Wildwood New Jersey, straight 4 hr ride and was amaing! The address was 4051 boardwalk (I believe) wildwood convention center and it was right on the boardwalk... I'm hoping to be able to return there soon for a small get away vacation and just be able to put all of our **** behind us... Oh would be ...

      things have got a lot busier these days. my timetable changed this session, so now i have minor 1 off, and i work in leather minor 2, so mornings are chilled. major 3 i have 17 kids in woodshop - more than in the minors - too many kids to be safe or make any decent projects.

      i had a day off on the 2nd july, and what thew camp set up was going to the mall, which cost $20 for the coach - i didn't want to pay to go shopping when i don't need to buy anything. instead ...

      That's right... three nights in a row without internet!

      The first, at Monticello, their internet had gone down. The next, it was so slow I couldn't even access e-mails. Last night I was on the road.

      But I assure you I have some great things to tell you all about my visit to Walkill, particularly Patterson and, finally, Brooklyn.

      ... br> i might not have much time in the future, tomorrows 6 minor day where every kid expericenes every activity, and each day after that i teach 3 minors and 3 majors (the kids pick the minors they want to do each day, and before they come to camp they choose 3 majors that they do every day). and today a coach should be coming with more campers,
