... times (I suspect it was the wine). Then there was a lovely gent called Jim, who we gave our squirrel infested spot to and who came over to say thank you a couple of times. He was a Californian with links to Lincoln - fascinated to hear about the sausages. The park warden came over to tell us off for moving spots which resulted in a 30min conversation about ManU upon hearing our accents - any wrongdoing forgiven. Also Gina and Joff, surfers who moved in on our last day for a ...

We arrive in Ventura and we heard they have a great crazy golf course so we head in that direction. There are 2 courses but are advised to play with the one with lights due to the sun setting soon. Some of the holes have amazing features and the biggest castles/boats/hazards I've seen. We arrived in Santa Barbara and after driving past lots of pay car parks we drove up ...

It was then that this tale got even crazier, turns our his mum had recently become a mad cat women and was now on a cat collecting mission, only siamese cats mind, and she already had a total over 80 which had taken over out building, bed rooms, pretty much everywhere! In the morning when I went to the toilet in one of the cat houses I cleverly took it upon myself to ...

... so you wouldn't have caught me out there. That, and sharks. I cruised on down the coast with the top down on the Camaro, freezing my **** off, but looking pretty cool in the process. I stopped for a couple for photo opportunities including one of a bunch of seals and sea lions hanging around the rocks. Next was the historic Bixby Bridge followed by Point Sur. I decided to stop off for a coffee to warm me up at a quaint little cafe at a place called Ripplewood. ...
