... while we were eating dinner last night. Glad we weren't in a tent. Somewhere along the way we changed time zones again. Seems like we a ways west for it to be the eastern time zone, but it is. Won't have to change our clocks again for 11 or 12 days. The country is pretty here. Looks a little like Virginia. Trees are just starting to change. Only pic we took was of those trees but it didn't turn out awfully well. ...
... his favorite part of the vacation was and it was all the high stuff; the tram in Jackson's Hole, the gondola in Steamboat Springs, and the St. Louis Arch. He also liked the Grand Teton National Park the best. I don't have a favorite; I enjoyed everything except the high stuff (see above).

Went to see Matt play at a local jazz club - an amazing big band in really quite a small venue. Ate really good food and talked with Lou a lot - reminiscing about old Carnival days mostly.
The next day we saw some of Downtown Cleveland which was a lot bigger and more pleasant than I expected. Cleveland seems to get quite a bad rap in the States, and I don’t know why ...
