... Corpus Christi area. We really are loving it here and are getting pretty comfortable getting around.

The 'neighborhood' we are in continues to have their daily 'happy hours'......every day is a bit too much for us, but we will partake a couple days a week. Everyone is just so friendly down here....its nice to see that people still do care about each other.

This is an RPI Park - not great, but only a half hour from Corpus Christi, which we want to check out.
I have blood tests scheduled for tomorrow morning in CC, and afterwards, we'll explore the USS Lexington, the aircraft carrier and museum docked in Corpus Christi.

We arrived in Rockport, TX on Monday, 11/3. We booked only a temporary reservation because we weren't sure whether we'd like it here or not. We were originally planning on heading to Victoria, TX for the winter, but our minds changed pretty quickly. On our first day, we did a lot of exploring and decided this was the place for us. We are planning on staying here through the winter (at least until the end of March).
