So we were warned about "Grey May" and "Gloomy June" but didn't really believe it till it happened.....And for us there is more than one reason our May is so grey!

1. So we haven't really seen the sun for the past 2-3 weeks, I know outrageous right? On top of the fact that it is colder now than it was in Winter.

2. We had a bit of a building issue, a flood in fact, that then caused an asbestos scare, that then resulted in more of a building ...

... all knowing and other times the names I could call him are much less kind! I have not tried to use a map here because it just does not compute! The THING did get us back to Coronado. We drove around since the traffic was light. We found a good spot to photograph the skyline on San Diego. We went down to the Navy Base area and around by the beach and harbor. ... an R&B club dancing to songs I forgot existed and Murray didn't know existed at all. The next day mainly consisted of watching How I met your mother. Which we are both addicted to. I am slightly worried as I write this that I can hear Ted telling the story. We decided to go to Seaport Village on Monday and thought it was really nice. ... spent some time playing catch on the beach; Josie was just enthralled with the tides and the seagulls. We saw a great pelican among the seagulls, dipping gracefully into the water for dinner.

What a contrast to the heat in Vegas. When we arrived, it was around 73 degrees, low humidity. So refreshing.

We watched the sunset, then made our way back to the room for the evening.

... are good for people watching. I don't have the heart for loud music anymore. The Hard-Rock cafe's loud techno music with flashing lights really got me. Second time we were there, never enjoyed it. If next year there's another venue there, I'll skip it.

It was fun, though, running back to Omni from family dinner at Kansas City BBQ, another product sponsored dinner. The boys and I were inspired after watching people running/sprinting stairs ...
