Getting Higher, Getting Colder
... this kind of weather... The worst part is that our hostel does not have hot water. It gets luke warm at best after 10 minutes of letting the water run (which I canīt do because I feel bad). So, after a day of freezing, all you can do is warm up in your blankets and get ready for the night. We went to a fancy restaurant with a crackling wood fire (so nice!!!!) and each had a 3-course meal for 18 soles (about $7.50).

... soup, rice and a potatoe mixture (very nice though). Iīm sure we were supposed to be on holiday and not working for our keep? The food on Lake Titicaca is very rice and potato based. Every Wednesday they go to a local market to trade their potatoes and beautiful handicrafts for food.
At 8.00 returned to our beautiful room for a secret whiskey and coke nightcap. Rest at last.
