We stayed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi. Knew that there were a lot of casinos in Biloxi and that Katrina did a lot of damage to the area, but did not know that Biloxi is also the site of Jefferson Davis' retirement home. So we went to visit this beautiful estate on the gulf shore. While damaged, it survived both Camille and Katrina while most of the new buildings were totally destroyed.
