... pa opazi razlika med folkom, ki je npr. iz Sumatre- te ti hočjo nekaj prodat na vsak način in domačini, ki so res gostoljubni
- sama kultura in tradicija tu je neki posebnega, vsekakor se bom še vrnila, ampak za dalj časa in da še malo bolj raziščem odročne kraje in manjša mesteca
- uglavnem zelo sem uživala in Bali mi je bil zelo všeč, naslednič padejo še Gili otočki in pa Lombok :)

Bromo vulkaan
... op. Na wat brood met de laatste Nutella en wat bananen gingen we op pad. Eerst het dorpje door en bovenaan was meteen al een fantastisch uitzicht. Totaal anders dan verwacht. De vulkanen die we tot nu toe hadden gezien waren allemaal groen maar hier keek je in een grijs/zwarte zandwoestijn met een stuk verderop een groene vulkaan en daarnaast een grijze vulkaan, de Bromo, en daarachter de Semeruvulkaan. Water bombed out
... weather radar is reliable at home as rain advances in a front, but in the tropics, of course, there are always cloud formations and it is pot luck determining if they are rain bearing or not. Australian Invasion (again)

Five (rather long!) Nights in Kuta

It seems it is cheaper for Aussies to fly to Bali than to many other destinations in Oz and hotel where I stayed was full of Aussies, the accommodation was clearly preferred by family package tour operators. In hindsight there was no need for me to stay in what was (by my traveller standards) rather luxurious accommodation but even so the novelty of having my own room, after effectively sharing with various peoples for 5 months ...
