Our first stop today was the large weekend market called Chatuchak. This is the biggest market in Thailand and one of the biggest in all of Southeast Asia. Just a brief stopover in Bangkok.

I was keen to see how Khao San Rd had changed in the 18 years since I first went there, but just before I arrived a state of emergency was declared in the city, so I just hung around the north of the city near the secondary Don Muang airport before heading off in the morning.
