I am Shiny, Just Like the Grand Palace

A travel blog entry by meghan.dobson on Jul 07, 2014

This morning we went to see the Grand Palace. It was just 3 of us because the entrance was not included for the 2 Swiss girls on their trip so they did their own thing. We had to walk there, which was only about 20 min, but at 8:00 in he morning it was already in the mid-30s so I was thoroughly soaked. To go into the Palace you have to wear long sleeves and pants or a long skirt. I brought my own long sleeves, but had to borrow a skirt from there. I made the stupid mistake of ...

Back in South East Asia

An hour Thai massage only cost us £6 and was a mixture of stretching, pulling, pushing, hitting and traditional ...

We left Watsonville on Thursday January 23, 9:00am. It was a long travel day, over 24 hours, and that's with no hang ups! All was smooth. We arrived late last night or should I say early this morning, to our lovely hotel Centara Plaza. It is Saturday January 25th! Our tour guides name is Patty. She's very nice. We will have breakfast downstairs, then meet at bus 10:00am for our first look at Bangkok. So ...

Back to the Big City

A travel blog entry by danijoshtravels on Jan 05, 2014

The next morning we made our way to the bus station in Trat and planned to get the next bus to Bangkok. When we arrived we were told the next bus at 10am was full and the one at 11am only had back seats left. We didnt want to wait around forever so decided against advice and go with the seats at the back. When the coach arrived our luck was in, when we got to our seats we were at the back but our 2 seats were slightly infront of the rest ...
