We toured the ruins, I stuck my toe into the Med, and then retreated back for a little siesta. We had a time change last night, and kinda screwed my clock up.

We plan on staying here 2 nights, then on to Kas.

March 23 Today we are going to go to Olympos on the Mediterranean Sea. It is cool, cloudy, some sun, rain and very windy. We decide not to go for a walk or hike, but sit and play cards and read. We do go down the hill for lunch and dinner. At 9 p.m. we leave for the bus, realizing that they did not clean our room and we probably could have stayed there all the day. The bus arrives and 4 of us get on. There is only 1 seat! I get the seat, they put Len at the front steps ...

... small Pensions and hotels spread out along either side of the small main (and only) road, leading all the way down to and along the beach. After a while we found the Orange Motel, so named for the orange trees growing amongst the bungalows and eating areas. We had a large room that slept all 5 of us easily, and the place was spotless, comfortable and the staff hospitable. The beach was part rocky, part sandy, but from where we entered from our hotel, we could walk 500 - 600m ...

The huts at Bayrams are quite similar to those in many other 'tree house' establishments - basically tightly packed bungalows along some of the worst constructed paths I've come across.
