Theres a fiesta here in Narbonne today so I'm off to join in.

Seems safer than other places I've been to recently
- Outskirts, means will have to stay with the boat, just outside the last lock into the centre of town.
- Then only 4 or so locks to the med.
- Homps was my favourite stopover place, but wont bore you with all the details here.

We were awake at 06:30 to the sound of precipitation and I mean stair rods, looking out our window we were actually in the rain cloud. It wasn't looking good. By 08:00 it had stopped raining and the sun was out, very bizarre, we decided to set off ASAP in case t came back. The roads were wet but the sun was drying them out quite quickly. We left Andorra and went through a toll tunnel thru the mountain only to come out the other side in the mist/cloud ...
... but the flies are a bugger.
Most of the locks today were doubles or trebles, so weve dropped down lots today.
It really is the busiest day on the canal there seem to be 4 different companies opperating in this area, I am sat opposite a charter base with about 30 boats parked today, the canal and local towns and villages seem to need the income these companies generate locally.
Anyway enough prattling got to clean the boat and then myself, will write more later.
After a sleep in enjoyed by all we were awoken by the bells chiming in the hour....every hour! Somehow it was so pleasant sleeping in a room with the breeze blowing in the window and the sounds of the street below drifting through. We then had a morning walk around town followed by a cafe au lait at the local cafe where you can buy everything from beer to ice cream! Very civilised. ...
