Just a few words about today, we had the typical lazy Sunday. Up not too early and a nice breakfast croissants fresh from the bakery on site. A bit of a sort out and down the pool for 1030hrs, unbroken sunshine for the next couple of hours meant we were in and out of the pool cooling off. Back for lunch, not a Sunday one but fresh bread with ham and salad, Mark, ...

... hair pin climb but so worth it, except that the chateau was closed and so was the ice cream shop but the sheds were open and all manor of farm life artifice was on display to enjoy before I had to head back down and get home before Clive sent out a search party! Next a most memorable experience sadly never to captured on film! A garage! This afternoon we head back into town to see if the two museums are open. Ones a biscuit factory and ones a vintage car garage. ...

... had become full of stalls selling local produce of fresh meats, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, wines and the usual clothing knick knack stalls. It was a food lovers paradise with the food smells wafting through the air. ( although Roddy was a bit concerned about the amount of flys enjoying the market food as well!). Using limited French language skills plenty of local goodies were bought to make a smorgasbord of local produce for ...
