Today we drove about 200km in the ****ing rain ... Both wet till the bone!! Luckily we found a small camping with rooms for rent. The room is actually very big, with a kitchen included. After everything was unpacked, I enjoyed a warm shower after having very cold the whole day long. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice meal in the local restaurant. Mid-morning, we boarded the ferry and soon I was saying goodbye to our "green and pleasant land".

France is flat and green as we headed in the direction of Brussels on the E40.

Slowly but surely he fears I had been feeling were melting away and the excitement building. What a fantastic feeling.
