Lannion to Douarnenez

... farming area. On way passed through a dear little village called Sizun which had one of the prettiest churches I have seen and also there was a small museum attached which had some very old household furniture and chattels. We drove along back roads into Douarnenez passing through very narrow roads and tiny villages. Douarnenez is a large seaside port and resort with lovely beaches. We ended up staying in Brest for a week but in truth, we only really used it as a base. The town itself is quite nice but the Northern coast is truly breathtaking and it didn't take much prodding to get me to spend most of our time there.

Just creating this entry to pinpoint where we stayed....

August 2ndWe had a super time in Guilvinec unfortunately we have had to move off sooner rather than later as David's dad is unwell and back in hospital so we need to be nearer Rochefort where we can leave Sega if necessary to get home quickly. We had a lovely time there amongst all the fishing boats....and met this lovely couple called Paul and Jan on their boat called Wild Poppy, we hope to meet ...
