... started riding down 5th Avenue in amongst the population of Manhattan. As a rider it was scary and as a parent it was negligent. Hoots of horns, me shouting, Ben turning around and then me shouting again to look ahead!! We made it safe and sound. Probably not a thing that I would do again.

... s have been seen. With the number of seals hanging out, it's not surprising. Also, there is only area where swimming is allowed. I would not swim there no matter what.

It was really amazing to see the seals. They are very curious creatures and you could tell they were checking us out. They would pop our heads up and look at us directly. Then they would swim along while we walked. I imagined them thinking, what a strange sight ...
