          ... did I expect that!

          We found our rural home and met our host Charlotte who showed us around her 34 year old home which she designed and raised her 4 children in. This place was filled floor to ceiling with family photos and memories and she even told us that she had given birth to two of her kids in the bedroom next to us! (Too much detail perhaps?)

          Glad to see you are enjoying some cool weather. It is hot and humid here....high 30s. Soooooo nice to be out on the water, where Pam needed her jacket at one point!

An extended stay meant today we had to drive 300 miles to New York, although arriving in the city in the blazing sun, along the banks of the Hudson River with the new freedom tower in the distance was spectacular.           ... though she did look tired and was quieter than usual. Now noon and we are still in PJs and reading the paper. Bernadette is in the hospital with an ear infection and vertigo - Gabe called us - so we will not be going there tonight. We hung around here for the rest of the day and then decided to try a pulled pork place in Reading. It had other things too and I tried the pulled pork and it was wonderful! Phil had meatloaf and he was very happy with it.
