Sunday, August 9, 2015. PCT day112. Miles 1737-1762 I was supposed to wake up by 5am today but slept in till 5:45. Either way I was out hiking by 07:15. I was able to do 25 miles. The terrain was relatively easy with minimal elevation losses or gains. The weather was nice with partly cloudy skies and highs in the high 70s. ... midnight and we are back from Cymbeline. A great performance!! They had to cancel the open air production because of the smoky atmosphere - sad, but they put on a concert performance, without costumes or sets, in the high school hall. A huge success, and very funny. Can't imagine the real thing would have been so much more entertaining! Tomorrow night will be Streetcar Named ...

Well last night I stayed at Willow Lake County Park. A beautiful place unfortunately this weekend it was filled to the gills with drunken yahoos and their many dogs. Don't get me wrong I like mixing with all different types of folks, but I get a little cranky after a long hard day of pedaling. Hey, who doesn't? Well my "neighbors" in the park had more and more friends show up the later it got, and everybody had to have a drink. They were not all ...
