We made a stop in Asbury park New Jersey after leaving our hotel. This was the birth place of my brother n law and the early home of my inlays back in the late 60's.

You can see some of the old neighborhood feel a well as much new and renovations along he boardwalk. It appears to be a community on the upswing. There were tons of hotels and bed ns breakfast type places. Lots of old homes with lots of interesting color palettes. Had a nice quaint ...

So...less than 10 hours til I get on the plane to China. Last post from good ol' Amurrica. Hopefully my Mandarin will be better than it is now...although that won't be too difficult since I hit the low point yesterday when I forgot how to write my own name. Ooops. ANYWHO.
