... seeing these big beautiful, intelligent animals kept in captivity. There was also a waterfall here, which we bought our swim wear for, but after seeing the colour of the water we definitely did not want to take a dip here. There were a few stalls selling souvenirs and whilst walking along we saw a red snake eating a toad - he was still alive, his eyes slowly blinking, pretty ewwwy!
Next stop was to see a trained monkey collecting coconuts (it is ...

Day 7 on samui and I have finally got Lou in the sea past her knees! After speaking to so many locals reassuring her there are no jelly fish and the water is too warm for sharks, she just asked to go back in the sea! Woop! ... Thai place that I had wanted to try, and the food was so amazing that we both booked in for the cookery school on my last morning! Sam isn't a vegetarian but had used the days with me to try a vegetarian diet so she was happy to go along with that. There were just four of us on the course but it was great - we made dishes ranging from a Tom Yam chilli paste, to green curry and also massaman curry too. So I now feel I have a full range of Thai cookery long as ...

... on it.

There were a vast number of fire shows taking place up and down the beach. Every bar was playing the same house music as the next, after a few songs this got very repetitive and to be honest both of us got a bit bored of the music. We did however make the most of the occassion by drinking, dancing and watching the fire shows but i can honestly say that the Full moon party was very overatted for what it was. It was a great party on the beach with ...
