      ... as we were waiting for dessert, they ran into some of the wedding party that is staying at their hotel. There's a huge Indian wedding with over 100 people staying at their hotel. They had been talking about what a great group they were all night and how the wedding goes on for five days with so many different outfits and rituals every day. I was eager to meet them.       ... very nice. I decided to try a dollop when I got back to the hotel, so I ate a teaspoon full. I wish I hadn't. The taste, is very much like caramelised onion with an aftertaste of old socks and cigarette ash. In short, it was, in my humble opinion, bloody awful. Perhaps it is an acquired taste, but I didn't want to taste it long enough to acquire it. Lilli wisely declined to taste the durian. Helen accused me of trying to poison her. ...

      ... by 2 guys but to add interest it is on fire and yes if you get it wrong you get burnt. Just as Jo was set to run in and have a go they stopped which in my view was a good thing, but as Jo pointed out there is always next month. We eventually got a speed boat back and got in around 0430 so yesterday was a wipeout.

      ... than waterfall, helped by the fact that the dj booth was a massive leopard head. With people dancing in the head. Fricking unbelievable! We danced until late then I lost everyone but found a girl called Holly and danced some more. There was an incredible burst of energy when the sun came up giving the few people left an incredible feeling. I got back to the hostel at 7 knowing I would have to do it all again for the fool moon.
