Once we arrived in Portage-du-Fort, we walked around a bit. Not too long though as it was cold outside. It's amazing - even though we were only two hours away from our home - it was a lot colder in this town. You could even notice some snow still on the ground and ice on the lake. ... the freezing temps outside. This however worked in our favour because when we got out of the hot one, we were greeted by bone chilling air which actually made the 10 degree cold water in the cool pools actually warmer than we were.
