Today we went to the spa Nordic in Gatineau which is the largest spa in North America. It was a super nice day, as in the sun was out but it was still bitterly cold. Maybe -15, which actually proved to be kinda good. The natural setting was beautiful with thermal springs set into the natural bed rock with waterfalls running down the rocks into the pools. ... as so much lost the track and ended up somewhere else. This meant that the successful hounds got lots of food!

The rest of the day the Hunt Master and his team were out rounding up the stray hounds! If they don’t find them they usually make an appearance back at the farm, a few days later when they get hungry. Impressively, the Hunt Master knows the names of all 25 hounds! They all looked the same to me!

Pink Lake and Carrie plays Baseball

Today we had the use of Tony and Nicoles car so we headed to a nearby park for a walk around Pink Lake which was actually green. After this we drove around the park a little to a view point and then another small lake where we ate water mellon.

At night we went to watch Tony play Baseball. They were a female player short so Carrie very bravely stepped in and she did very well. After the game i had a shot at batting and hit a home run which delighted me and angered Tony. ...

... what looked like a great attraction for the kids – Storyland, just outside Renfrew. Nadine was a bit sceptical when we were within a kilometre and still hadn’t seen any signage from the highway. Sure enough, Storyland has closed down.

Seta was quite distraught, but we found a good alternative in the Bonnechère Caves. The cave itself was nothing spectacular (compared to ones we saw in Australia and New Zealand), but the tour was great. At ...
