      The Seventh Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 25, 2013

We were woken up early because it was Christmas morning. I went upstairs and saw what I had in my stocking. I got some lip balm, a scarf, a Starbucks card and some chocolates. Then after breakfast we went to open our other gifts, I got a magazine subscription, a hair straightener, a pandora bead and an iTunes voucher. Then I went on a walk with Mum ...

We went to the Arches National Park for a couple hours before heading to Denver. We didn't make it through the whole Park. Hopefully we can get back here to see the rest of it and take some hikes. It is so interesting to see the formations that have evolved over time.

We left the park around noon. We headed north on a state route to get to I70. There was construction on the state route. In Utah, ...

We had just got to our room and getting sorted, when all of a sudden, the fire alarms went off. The fire truck arrived and ...

Betsy and I both enjoy a sleep in this morning before we get ready for SHOPPING! We're driving to Fort Collins but stopping at Loveland Outlets and Mall on the way. It's a decent drive to the outlets and when we arrive I head straight to the Coach outlet - after some deliberating and browsing, I pick out a colourful new handbag! They haven't heard of Oroton over here, but I think it's Australia's Coach equivalent. Leaving Coach, we head to Sketches so I can buy Dad's ...

Day 15 - Start of our pilgrimage home

... we never should have come there as there was no place to park and no place to turn around. Great! I was shaking from my nerves as it was coming up this steep road and now this? The woman whom I spoke to with on the phone came up to us and walked us up to their gated area. Now this area really was not big enough to do a clean turn around but we were able to do this. Now as all of this was going on my husband voiced his ...
