... After a while there comes the realization that Huatulco is more a region than a single town.

La Crucecita is one of the four areas of urbanization in the Huatulco region. The other three are Santa Cruz, a cute little beach town, Tangolunda, location of most resorts and Chahué, located right next to Santa Cruz. All are within a few kilometers of each other and can be easily reached by bus or taxi.

... due to high winds that made it unsafe to go into port. Instead we had to content ourselves with the usual table upstairs (outside near the pizza) for lunch. We hung out by the pool until the wind drove us inside. Then we retired to the card room for a game of pinochle and some Game Boy. Not Mexico indeed.

... Ocean on the southern coast of Mexico. There is not much to do there... at all. No fancy resorts, no parasailing, no night clubs, no throngs of tourists assuming that everyone speaks english. Eventually we had no option but to exclude any additions in order to agree on pricing but once underway we had an excellent time. ... the beach, for my break. The planning was better and I just want to relax. The host family of a girl here has an apartment on the beach that we´re going to rent for 4 nights. I can´t wait! I don´t really know what else to right except that if you ever come to Oaxaca or México, realize that pedestrians do NOT have the right of way here. Your life is in your hands! LOL. Yeah, we got used to that real quick like...:) I´m posting pictures! You should look at them!

The journey from Oaxaco to Puerto Escondido wasn't the best! We left our hostel in Oaxaco (minus our Spanish speaking guide Stina) and made our way to the bus station. The bus was delayed because of it being stuck in a traffic jam or because it had broken down (like we said our Spanish isn't good!).
