        ... Lake in the mid of Sask. pretty neat and it was free.

        The other item as we motored along was watching the harvesting activities many and varied depending on the crop extemely interesting to see first hand coupled with how vast the landscaped is both Sask. and Alberta

        Off we went in search of Oyen Alberta and to my surprise I found it first try, not the campground but at least the Town--- getting better!!!

        ... are quite stable, but others are wide open and the dunes shift with the winds. The area is home to 70 species of birds and 19 types of mammals. The Great Sandhills are used by ranchers to pasture up to 16,000 head of cattle during the grazing period. This unique phenomenon is visited by thousands of people each year.         ... and waterfall. Apple and crabapple trees border one side of the yard and flowering perennials abound. Sadly, we were too busy to ever sit out there this trip. We received a warm welcome from Mary and quickly settled our things into a large bedroom. Mary and Netty served a delicious dinner complete with Chokecherry wine and pie.         Visited some old friends again. This time Rick and Darla who live in a tiny farm community called Smiley. :) There was an interesting place we visited while there: the Great Wall of Saskatchewan.
