I went out and got some sunrise shots and the horses looked awesome in the sunlight as well as the wide open spaces I could hear the Snow Geese and Canada Geese all calling honking etc to find food in the freshly harvested paddocks of maze and other grains. we had a good rest here with gloria and Milt as we had no car but that was not a problem as we had plenty to do and good company to keep us busy, later Milt drove us around trying to find the Geese but as ...

... a bonus ferry crossing over the Red Deer River. I must add that it was free. Really a bonus. Drumheller itself wasn't to my taste and I quickly headed towards Wayne. The road snakes over a small river. I went over at least a dozen narrow bridges to get there. The objective was the Last Chance Saloon. Interesting enough place that is apparently quite the destination for bikers in general. After a quick lunch, it was time to eat some miles..... Lesson ...

Headed North back into the Prairies. Could see for miles and miles. Didn't see another human for hours. Made it to my workplace for a couple of weeks. Spent the next 2 weeks fixing generators, repairing engines, welding fences and shooting critters. What an experience.
