... to catch the boat back the to the other side of the island. Safe to say we now feel like a family and most activities aren't fun unless we're all there together. Amazing how in 2 weeks, complete strangers can become such good friends. If you guys are reading this- we won't forget you! Boat from main land to Ilha Grande was beautiful, the island is very big but with only one main 'town' there are no cars just people rowing to next village or tourist spot! We had dinner on beach with fab views of moonlight on the water! Seafood was unreal! We walked to beach called Lopes Mendes, slightly hungover in temperatures over 30 degrees in flip flops not a good idea...... It was uphill for an hour very steep in high ...

... drink we started again walking again and found it really heavy walking on sand in hiking shoes. Had to go through the mountains again and the climb up seemed more difficult but it was also getting hotter. The route seemed be a lot of going up and down but we chatted amongst the group.
