... will be the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death. When Tracy visited Barcelona in 1997 the inside was incomplete and visitors could not enter the building. Today the entire interior is complete using designs and drawings Gaudi left behind. We will have to visit again in 12 years to see the Sagrada Familia when it's finally finished! After we left Begonia we wandered through the Boqueria, the Barcelona food market first mentioned in history in the year 1217. After a ...

... happened upon in Bolzano. Many cultures were represented and the stage presented us with some delightful VERY local entertainment of young Opera singers (it is Italy after all!) and singer/dancers from Poland, the Ukraine (it does exist!) and Lithuania. We boarded our ship at 4:15 with 15 minutes before the muster drill. We barely made it to our assigned station, and Sara was used to demonstrate how to wear the newest fashions in ...

... the rain was really a blessing becuase it gave me a relaxed feeling, like I wanted to curl up and read a book all day. I pretended that's what I was doing ;)
After Las Ramblas, we came back to hostel and chilled for a while then went out to dinner. We went to a cute pasta restuarant in the neighborhood. You read that right: pasta. We were so close to making it to Italy without having pasta...I just couldn't do it. The food here is not my thing. It was dang ...
