Today the tide was out and the beach went far beyond its normal limits allowing us to walk farther and view the variegated cliffs and the green, algae-coated rocks normally covered with seawater.     ... gave it another day at Lagos, hoping that the wind would vanish again, but ended up deciding that two nights was more than enough and that we'd prefer to move on again. Further east, it's supposed to be much less windy and a lot more pleasant.

    It was actually an easier journey than expected. We were able to use our spinnaker again for most of the day, and the swell wasn't as bothersome as we had expected.
