    ... Tasmania who loves his personal space!

    Time is running out for us on our US visa. Our three months here has gone faster than a rat up a drain pipe, so we find ourselves heading over the Mexican border. If we want to come back to the US anytime in the future, on this trip, we have to go as far as Guatemala before we can return and get another three months entry visa.

    ... was that the walk would be a 4 mile triangle down busy paved roads. My feet took a hit before I even got on trail. To cap it all off as I was finishing the long exhausting walk, I realized to my annoyance that I could have just got off at an earlier trolley stop. But again it was done and I couldn't focus on it.     Ended up sawing a camp trowel in half and whittling two homemade arch support inserts to help carry me over to idyllwild with a proper outfitter so I can hopefully purchase some legitimate Superfeet and Becca is eyeballing a quality knee brace to help with a chronic left knee irritation.
