Hello Everyone- Today we woke up in our lovely apartment with the amazing view. It was lovely just to lie around on the deck chairs and eat yummy food and drink coffees and lemon juices and relax and relax. Mum did lots of washing and we all had a chilled out day lying around and looking out to sea. Dad, Declan and Mum went to town on the little bus which winds around the tiny towns and came back with some yummy foods and chocolates. Then there was an amazing storm ...

Friday 13 September Weather - some cloud first thing, but burnt off by 10.00am - 29 degrees I woke early (what's new?) and headed straight out to the terrace to watch the sunrise. With the partial cloud cover, the colours were magnificent. I went back inside, made myself a coffee then sat outside and 'listened' to Praiano. The chooks, cockerels and ducks were in fine voice, as was a donkey near by. The bells of San. Luca church ...

... at the beach. Although the food in Italy is divine, I'm very appreciative of my first home cooked meal since leaving Christchurch. Then around 10.30 we drive to the marina and Jo introduces me to the social scene here. I had assumed we were going to a cafe or bar, but we end up at the waterfront, almost similar to a boulevard strip, and the surrounding piazza and streets....and although it's a Monday night the entire area is packed and lively with people simply ...
