... taken to the local corner store/supermarket where we purchased freshly sliced prosciutto, local pecorino cheese, and salads etc and fresh made pasta for tonight, then dropped back at the villa. The men have gone down on foot to the village with backpacks for the wine for dinner and more bread and cheese, you know to go with the nuts. There is nowhere to park in the village too narrow. Time is slipping, but we have updates to post! We are currently in southern Italy traveling the Amalfi Coast! Next we will return to Rome for one night and fly to Barcelona, Spain. Send us thoughts- Barcelona airports are experiencing worker strikes that may effect out travel. Sorry for our absence! Jenna & ...

... over the next few days as we did nothing more strenuous than visiting a town or two in the morning, followed by afternoon siestas and then a walk to dinner.

Amalfi was the largest town on the Coast but its streets were mostly full of souvenir shops and tourists. We took a bus to Ravello - a gorgeous hill-top hamlet - to see elegant Villa Rufolo with its pretty gardens and incredible coastal views. When we visited, the stage for the music festival was ...
