... cub. About 10 minutes later we came across a pretty big black bear again along the road side. This guy was busy eating and then wandered across the road and back into the bush. Certainly made the morning drive pretty exciting.
Made it back to Victoria around 1:00. Time to get some laundry done and packed for New Zealand.

Vandaag gaan we beginnen met onze 2 daagse zeekajaktocht bij Saltspring Island. Hiervoor moeten we al vroeg met de veerboot van Vancouver Island naar Saltspring Island. Daar worden we opgewacht door onze gids. Helaas is er slecht weer voorspeld en we verlaten de veerboot met een gestage miezerregen.

Tristan & Alice decided to hold their wedding in Toronto so that their starving student friends could afford to be there, and so that they could be married in their home church. Great. I am acquiring a daughter-in-law from San Francisco but I don't get to actually GO there.
