        200 miles, four hours, two lakes, one sad town. Our trip to Mendocino on the Pacific Coast involves a stopover in a small town called Lakeport in Clearlake. In some regards, the place is very similar to a Lake Tahoe - wide expanse of water surrounded by mountains and hills. However, this is a very difference place...and, honestly, it makes me sad. Lakeport is a small lake-front town on the west side of Clearlake, the supposed White Trash holiday destination of choice ...

        ... pumped up and heart pounding. I think Mike and I picked the longest continuous run.... The length of this particular run being the original length of 2500 feet..... Eventually we'd done enough and made for home. Down the track with a well earned beer and on towards Sunnyvale.... and traffic.... Lots of it.. The local railway was on strike and in one short stretch of road there were three accidents and one car that had run out of fuel..... Ah well.... The Chinese meal made us feel ...

        We left the Redwoods just before sun set and had an amazing sun set. Californian coast is very different from Oregon - i think. Petter said he still sees similarity in the stones and cliffs.

        We do. There are some examples...

        Some employers go so far as to reward people monetarily who can show they spent x number of hours exercising because they pay out less in employee health care.

        So in an economy looking for ideas to get it started here I think this kind of research could even branch out into unforseen areas where development could be lucrative.
