Ketchican was a little bit different from other ports in that Christina and I signed up for a 9:30 Duck tour of Ketchican and Marge went on a tour to Orca Beach which is on tour at 10:30 to another island from Ketchican and has a nature walk there. So we enjoyed a breakfast on the Lido deck at Unicorn Cafe and Christina and I headed off for our tour and Marge went to hers later. The Duck tour was okay if not great. I mean it was very informative and showed ...

Since we had visited this port 10 years ago on the Norwegian Dream with Barbara’s sister and brother in law; Joan and Phil Lewis, Barbara had researched a short trip north of town to Totem Bight using a city bus, so after a visit to the visitor center for a map and instructions of which bus to take, we headed to the bus stop two blocks away. Since we were the ...

Obviously, neither one of us were able to finish our meals, not for a lack of trying though!

We went back to the room and Diane was ready to go into a food coma. I felt like walking the meal off for a bit and headed down to the Red Frog pub to see some ...

... of Alaskan King Crab and Garth and Lisa found the local hangout and dined on halibut burgers they gave 10 stars to. Everyone accommodated our wishes and came back to the ship for 8:30 (good thing since the Celebrity Infinity departed Ketchikan at 8:00) for a photo session on the steps of the Grand Foyer.

A good day for all. And not a drop of rain.
