... of military bases on the Island. Apparently, naval and air force pilots who need to get their hours up, come here because of the good weather. We biked past Hemmingway's house and the Key West lighthouse, which we marked for a visit the next day. Also found the zero mile marker for US Highway 1. We then biked into Mallory Square and watched the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, before biking back to the resort with a new found ...

On our way back to the hotel we were enjoying the fireworks. Then all ...

... still have not had pie yet!

We came back to the room to rest and get out of the heat (which is actually not bad at all!). At 4:30 the staff here sets out wine, beer, and snacks for happy hour. We say in the patio and had some afternoon cocktails with the other guests. We met a nice couple from Connecticut, a teacher and her sheriff husband from Tampa, and a young couple from Germany. Our happy hour turned in to two hours before we ...

Bluewater Key RV Resort 305-745-2494 Site 75 The BEST site. Private, wifi, tiki hut closed in with plastic to block wind. The drive through the keys to get here was really nice. Lots of bridges and little towns on most of the islands. As for the resort....What an incredible place. I cannot imagine a better place to be. The view is spectacular and the site is very ...
