... and then took a leisurely ride back to the campground. On the way, we spotted an inland lake with huge rock formations rising out of it. Apparently, it was a private lake and the only way to see it was from the road.
We spent some time at the campground relaxing, reading, taking Beckett for a walk and napping. This campground is nice and quiet, so we enjoyed the afternoon.

... mad is that it had a very good rating in our campground book.

Once again we rain into a lot of traffic. We have never experienced this in any of our travels before. It was constant stop and go all through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and into Maine. We also saw so many "almost accidents" with people cutting in and out of traffic. Very tiring.

... a Chinese soap downloaded onto my iPad so I enjoyed the chance to watch it :-) We left the room around 2 to further our exploration. We first drove through a few more streets that we did not go down the last few days. Shortly before 3, we headed towards the Sunset Rock. ... s interesting that this place started to have more people starting yesterday. It seems that Monday and Tuesday are the "weekend" here - nice restaurants such as Salt and Haven are not open Monday and Tuesday even in the high season July and August. Things seem to start happening on Wednesday through the weekend.

I got many bites from yesterday's hiking - my own fault that I did not put on bug spray - so today I had no desire to go into the woods again. ...

... view of the water below. And I especially liked the fact that both toes had nice big rocks! The small toe is supposed to get very good sunrise views. But again I'm not sure if we will make it there on a sunrise. Too lazy ....
