... These officers seem blind to the fact that almost every other driver they are passing (and they simply can look in the windows that are inches away from their handlebars) are texting, talking while holding the phone, or looking down and typing on a iPad as they drive. God forbid the CHP actually pulls someone over! This results is everyone slowing down even more to see if they know who has been pulled over so they can Text, Tweet, and Instagram ...

... LA is known for its climate, ethnic diversity, celebrities, traffic, and the film and television industry. We took a bus into Long Beach for several hours. It was reassuring to see the fast response from security and all the bleachers clapped and cheered them. Then, ZOOM!! We knew there was going to be a flyover but we didn't know it was going to be a Stealth! Wow, first of all it was really low; second, it was like a giant shadow passing ...

... back in for our flight to Auckland then we headed out into the city. The man at passport control had said it would be way too boring to wait at the airport all day so he suggested we catch a bus to Santa Monica beach. The bus took about half an hour to get there & I got some good views of LA while Brook had a snooze. The bus dropped us off and another passenger heard me asking about shopping areas, so she suggested one near by. Brook and I headed off to have a look at the ...
