Friday in Prague found us waking to a gloriously sunny day. We enjoyed a full breakfast at the Hotel Kinsky before leaving for a long day of touring the town. We started the day with a visit to the nearly 1000 year old grounds of Prague Castle. It is huge with eight seperate tour areas to see. We chose a four pack. ... very tiring but tiring but we survived! Had lunch then went back to the hotel for a rest. From our room we could see what we thought to he a park so we decided to go for a stroll. The park turned out to be a cemetery, and it an amazing collection of memorials!!!

... then we found a local place to sit and have a beer for Dad and I while Mum had a honey wine from a local stall. Off to dinner, I wanted to try something local, so I chose the 1/2 duck which came with red cabbage and dumplings, it was really nice though there was a lot of duck! By the time we got back to the apartment it was about 2230 and I was ready for bed after a big day. Off to Vienna tomorrow on the train for a few days until Sunday ...
