... from the brewery to the accom. A little more stressful than anticipated the first time driving left hand drive car on the right side of the road as this tiny historic town sent into traffic mayhem with the Tour de France having been through only hours earlier. With the sat nav telling us to turn down streets closed for the event, oncoming traffic in streets barely wide enough for two cars, and rain falling heavily, our front right ...

As an arty person much of my opinion of place is based on their paintings, sculpture or architecture and having come from Paris, Bruges just didn't match up. Do give it a chance, it will be exactly what you want it to be but I won't be heading back anytime soon.

    Day 3

... atmosphere. A few of us traveled back to a small brewery we had passed on the tour and took a look inside. We also stopped in some souvenir stores where we found that all of the workers had some knowledge of English. I found this impressive since that means many of them are trilingual at a very least.

The food we had in Brugge was identical to the meal we had yesterday in Brussels. It become apparent fairly quickly that beer, french fries, ...
