I'd booked a tour of Prague before we left home. It sounded interesting "Nazi and Communist Prague". We took the tram into town this time, which was a bit longer but you got to see more of the city. On first observation I would say that Prague is much less multicultural than the other European capitals we have passed through. Definitely no regrets about extending our stay in Prague. Its been fun. We've had 6 nights here to enjoy this beautiful city, largely and a leisurely pace. Once we had satisfied the desire to see the main landmarks and monuments here, we were left with just absorbing the relaxed atmosphere and culture of the city.

We visited the Pinkas Synagogue which dates back to 1535 but now is a memorial to the Jews of Bohemia and Moravia murdered by the Nazis. The names of victims are recorded on the walls of the Synagogue and the upstairs area has an exhibition of children's drawings from Terezin concentration camp.
