... to the top of the Duomo. All 461 of them! I went to the Museum on the History of Science. Nobody else wanted to come! We went to the Bibolo gardens, the POnt Vechio bridge and the Duomo. We are quite efficient tourists when we put our minds to it. Florence is not that big really. We are off to Pisa tomorrow. then a day in Rome and home. Cheers
Florence, Florence, Italy bobdonmeglaura... hot!! I know Mr. Marriott is making millions please install a/c's in the elevator.
Secondly, at the pool and beach you should have a bartender walking around to serve drinks. Not all the time you want to get up from the pool to get a drink.
Lastly, I had an issue regarding maintance fees going up. I asked to be connected to the GM office and left a message. He never called me back. I was told the he was in a meeting. I felt like I was getting a run around.
... I'll even do a few autographs. I sat on one of the wicker chairs with some water, a chai and pack of Gadam garang cigarettes. Not much of a smoker I don't often indulge, but this brand is incomparable. I lit one up, listened for the crackle then licked my lips. They leave a sweet residue on my lips, the smoke curls through your lungs and leaves you feeling lighter, happier. I was back. I thought about my Sam friend, as I promised him. I had bought ...
Delhi, India lonesomegeorge... my mouth for a good number of hours..trying to get out the city with tear gas, bullets, fires, people throwing stones and anything they could get their hands on and cars being ripped apart was interesting to say the least...Ilka and I found a bodaboda driver to get us out but there were road blocks in the direction we needed and the riots were continuing up as far out as we lived, in the end we had to drive through a ...
Kasangati, Uganda amywanless... because each state has its own beauty. You see something different everyday as you go down the road. Mountains, valleys, desert, lava flows, solid rock and deep sand and then the arches and then all the wheat fields and alfalfa fields. So much bounty and beauty, how can we ever complain? Hope everyone enjoyed our travels, I know that I have enjoyed sharing with everyone. Love to all Diane
Midlothian, tx, United States schroederd... nice enough, and I finish at 3PM (I also start at 6AM), which means afternoons of poolside napping.. I went to the pool today after work, there was only 1 other volunteer there. But I know the lifeguard from Yodfat through Maria, so I talked to him for a bit as well.. So overall a bit of an ambiguous start, but hopefully things will get a bit better once I start to get to know people more. There's supposed to be a whole bunch of new volunteers coming this week, so that'll be nice.
Bar'am, Israel jiske... got there, either it's closed or we missed it cos we can't find any restaurant open there. It was 830 pm. Casino would have food. And we could visit it too. Crown it was. Crowded. Saturday. Rowdy teenagers. Foodcourt minestone soup and caesar salad for me. Then jackpot and roulette. Lost $50 end of the day. Hubby four times the amt. Got back hotel and turning in at 350am.

Parth, the boy was so sweet and he was translating to the best of his ability everything ...
Mumbai, India danaal-dajaniDear All, we just wrote a really long wonderful blog for you all, but it has just disapeared much to our frsutration, so here is a shorter version. Our day began yet again with a trip to our 'local' to pick up an array of exciting pastries (Hana insists on a list); un pain du chocolat, an apply thingy, a custard roll thingy and a cinamon spiraly thingy. WE ate this on agrassy patch in front of Damascus gate before continuing just up the road to the ...
Jerusalem, Israel smof... Since we woke up this morning, the last few hours of the long bus journey from Mendoza have been a real pleasure. We arrive early afternoon in Bariloche to a stiff breeze; a bit like Edinburgh in March. A tout accompanies on the local bus into town and shows us a place on the 4th floor of an ill-conceived giant box in the town centre. Cheap with a nice view but smelly and dirty. We move on in a wild goosechase around town to ...
