... the Herbert Hoover Library, we are headed for Missouri Valley, IA. Weather has been wonderful, and we are hoping that the weather won't turn ugly as we head West.
Looking for good barbecue as we travel, but haven't found much yet. Basically, there are Cracker Barrel restaurants on the highway along the way. We are seeing lots of retired folks with their RV's ---- hey wait - that's what we are!!! Anyway, passing through pretty country. More later. ...

During the day, Mousse did a great job. His potty training is going very well – no accidents today. His leach training is getting better but we have some work to do. Today, Mousse did a bunch of socializing with some fellow campers in the park.

Mousse had his first vet visit today. The vet gave him a clean bill of health. She also answered a number of questions that we had including an estimate of how big he will get. Since his mother is 80 pounds and his father is 100 pounds, the estimate is 90 pounds plus a fudge factor of 10

... and Izzie met for the first time. Both were timid. Izzie wanted to touch Mousse but would only try with her feet. If Mousse moved near Izzie, Izzie would head for protection. Izzie is walking now but will walk very fast when near Mousse.

... town. The hotel is located on a pedestrian walkway with lots of public art, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is nicely updated, but our room has a weird window overlooking the pool.
