... on to a rail, in order to not fall over. There were campaigns all over the tubes where ’stand up Stacey’ gave her seat to someone who needed it more and ‘move over Martin’ moved down the carriage so more people could get in. There seemed to be a push for people to be more mindful of the people around them - London’s tube should take a leaf. A million stops later, we got off and consulted a map to figure out which way to go.

For as I type this we're holed up in our room, a huge storm has broken and what looks pretty much like a monsoon has started. It's our second day on Gili Air. And it's been a good day. Last night was hot and our room was fan only. We resorted to sleeping with the window wide open because it was impossible to sleep otherwise. This was a gamble. Mosquitoes etc. Luckily there were none and we slept quite well. ...

Thank you so much Desiree Duclos!

... one which turned out to be excruciatingly difficult fitness wise, and, let's just say hairy from a heights perspective.
And that's where Desiree comes in. Without her I would still be clinging to a rock high on the side of Rinjani, unable to budge, crying and yelling all kinds of abuse at Alex, whose fault it would obviously have been. Before I left Singapore I got fed up of having to fight my irrational fears to do the things I enjoy - heights when I ski, ...
