... tka hodovalo, a před půl nocí se jelo koňským spřežením na saních zasněženou mrazivou krajinou na hodinovou projížďku parkem, kde si někdo dal tu práci a vyzdobil celou trasu lesem vánočními světýlky. We are all safe and sound @ YEG, waiting to board. The only glitch so far, EC's ticket had an incorrect name on it. The good folks at Air Canada fixed it and we're good to go.

In the secure area the kids were sent on a photo scavenger hunt. I'll provide results later. Someone was seen eating cotton candy - good nutrition for our flight to YYZ.

... special to see the girls we knew 15 years ago grown into young women with interesting lives.

We board the plane for home Sunday August 5. It has been fun writing the blog and has been a way to feel connected with friends and family while on the road. We hope you enjoyed reading it.

So that's it folks: 84 days and over 21,000 kms. We plan to reconvene our journey mid September so stay tuned.

The Camino de Santiago de Compostela Frances is the route Bonnie and I chosen. It is the most frequently traveled route. It begins just at the boarder between France and Spain in the Pyrenees Mountain. St. Jean Pied de port it is about 800km from Compostela. We agreed that was to far for us to walk. We plan to travel by train from Madrid to Burgos on April 29, 2010. Burgos is one of the larger cities on the route. The ...
