... due to maintenance issues and we had to stay on the plane. Being stuck in a cramped Vueling Air jet with no air conditioning is not how you want to spend your summer days.

... for the quick 1 hour ride to Naxos. Naxos is the largest island in the Greek Cyclades islands and it's main town is Hora. Naxos was a cultural centre of Greece and has Venetian and Frankish influences. ... damning evidence of just how silly I was.

The ferry back to Athens was a wonderful experience as the captain hit a part of a port on entry to one of the islands. This meant a long delay as scuba divers had to investigate the damage. After 3 hours just sitting there we finally headed for Athens and arrived around midnight very tired and ready for some vegies. We had enjoyed the group experience but after 11 days we were also ready for some time by ourselves.

... it could be worse, she could of come home with him and I would be experiencing my first dorm room sex-capade. In the morning when I got up I made lots of noise just to get even with them but I doubt I taught them a lesson. Zips aren't really that loud. Steph and I had to take the coach down to the port to meet the group and catch the ferry over to Paros. The coach was overloaded and hot but we eventually got there with plenty of time to spare as the ferry was running on ...
