Today was a fun trip to a gorge, with some beautiful sites, but even better, some tubing, complete with kayak paddles to steer...how could I resist! Safety wasn't an issue on the tubing, but the attempted donkey ride (not me) a ride back in a local vehicle was a ...

The Apostle Paul mentions it several times in his writings. The ruins show what must have been a fabulous city, complete with hot and cold baths, a sewer system, and a series of sales stalls.

Our last stop was the ...

Another 5 hours of driving brought us to the Turkish coast and the city of Anatolya. We had to go over the Taurus Mountain range, which looks surprisingly similar to heading to Squaw - lots of rocks and fir trees. The only difference was that every now and then we would see tents with herders and their goats. Other than that, the highway was quite well built and maintained.

Anatolya is a tourist city ...
