Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. ... to see another church. So I made my way down to Helpoort again. The sun was still shinning and I thought it would be nice to sit by the lake and read my book. Just have a quiet afternoon. ... So I wandered around the outside of the fort for a bit then made my way back into town. For you information, the fort was built in 1701/02 as a bastion against french invasion. A little late considering the french had already invaded the town during the Dutch war in 1673. They handed Maastricht back to the dutch five years later after the Treaty of Nijmegen. Thank you Google. Now back to my story. In town I checked ...

... so watching the cameras span the crowds from the main stage was pretty unreal. There were three main stages, the other two called 'The barn' and 'KlubC'. The highlight for pretty much everyone in our group was Ramstein, and although that may seem a bit weird being the type of music they play, the atmosphere, the way they sounded and the show they produced was absolutely AMAZING!
