We are here on the Almalfi coast, and wow. The day started with us leaving San Gimignano,
and Bev had trouble getting all her goodies from the previous day in Florence in the suitcase, mind you Robert is in permanent shock as Linda had a shopping spree too. We went and had breakfast a vanilla croissant and cappuccino, yum yum. Off to see Anna who works in the shop in San Gimignano and say good buy which was hard as they are lovely ...

There is a long ladder into the water, as well as a marked stone where you can jump off the cliffs, but I find myself too chicken (and in my mind hear myself going 'broook, broook, broookk). I think maybe I'll summon up the courage another day, or maybe not...we'll see. It's funny as the cliffs I jumped off in Jamaica years ago would've been triple this height....but I suppose even then it took me a ...

    ... in Naples though.

    - Che Bonta was a cheap and cheerful eatery with excellent food. Aside from acting as the local pizzeria, they also made a good version of the seafood sciatielli (fat pasta) this region is known for. It doesn't beat Bar Mare's but was still better than anything you can get in Boston.

    - One night we had dinner at Hosteria Il Pino. A glass of prosecco and bruschetta was on the house. Chef Andy is self-taught ...
