... that she is using seems to think we are below sea level? As we approach the port we can see Corfu Island across the beautiful turquoise sea. At Igoumenitsa we parked at the terminal and went to enquire about tickets, we decided that the crossing to Ancona would be best, it sails tonight at 12 .30, takes 16 hours and allows dogs in the cabins. ... land it seems strange to see such a mix of vehicles, on Crete about 80%25 of the vehicles were 4x4 pickups,in various sizes and states of disrepair, the remainder were mostly small vehicles. Many of the vehicles had bent panels on them. GPS” instead… Who needs a GPS on an island right?? Rookie mistake, we took the
wrong turn out of the airport and went on a magical mystery tour of Corfu Town
with its winding traffic choked roads and one way streets. With no idea
where we were going and Al's first experience driving on the wrong side of the
road and with a manual and no understanding of traffic rules, needless to say
the veins were pulsing out ...

After our breakfast this morning, Marina had arranged with the Captain of the PlanetSolar, for us to have a tour. Jacques is friends with the captain who is from Brittany, France.... where Jacques is from. What a fascinating tour it was. As an aside, the captain of this craft, was one of the first people to paddle across the Atlantic Ocean. What a very special way to begin our day, before leaving Paxos.
