      My first day here in Western Australia. It had a slow start, having a late breakfast with Diane, and then chilling out and chatting!!!!!. Eventually we drove to town to Woolworths for grocery shopping and various other things. Very hot but with a lovely breeze. Again had a late lunch and then a snooze to catch up with just a bit of jet lag. ...

      ... Lear who has a tumour behind her eyes and they travel to BIRMINGHAM Children's hospital once a month for treatment. She is adorable but almost blind.       Clothes sorted and ready to pack. Cold still hanging around but much better. Said a few family farewells and just a few more ends to tie up tomorrow. I will be glad now to be on the plane. Had a txt today to say that it will be ONLY 38 degrees on Thursday when I arrive instead of 43 which it is today.       ... at the amazing buildings and found the seriously overhanging Henry Tudor House, where Henry VII stayed before the Battle of Bosworth. We also wandered around the outside of Shrewsbury Castle (built from the lovely red Shropshire sandstone, it looks more like a stately home than a fortress) and climbed Laura's Tower and the battlements.
