... we headed for the most loosey goosey clothes we could find. We also learned very quickly that not everyone is quite as trustworthy as they seem ...anyone who has been here will know what we mean by 'Big Buddha' - anyone in the street who says that is trying to lead you down the garden path Thai-style. ... want which was cooked in front of you. Gemma had a Spanish conversation with the Spanish chefs of course! I had Mexican, beef tacos and gemma had an Indonesian curry. We got a tuk tuk back and had we were wrecked after walking around the shops all day.

... Just sorry that I couldn't do justice to the food.....still feeling quite poorly. I came back to Sukhumvit on the underground train and the crowds at the demonstration seemed larger.It's Saturday and I have the feeling that lots of people are visiting the demonstration as a weekend diversion!
Oh dear, I'd imagined myself sitting by the hotel poolside at this lovely hotel for the first few days and instead I'm dosing myself up with cold ...
