A little wine please

A travel blog entry by macysmarti on Sep 19, 2014

It was a good day yesterday, sunny and warm. The RV park had a wine tasting last evening from a local winery. We bought the bottles that the RV Park had of the red which was very good. We will swing by the winery when we leave to get a case @ 50% off. We did say our trip was to enjoy the wine country. We met another ...

Excellent Company

Well we had a lovely visit with Jani, Don, and Keily . We went to a Mexician restaurant down the street from the RV park. It is good that the company was good as the food and service was disappointing. A son that I know I had seen pictures of, but I honestly can't remember if I actually ever seen in person. They were having a big cookout with some friends and neighbors. When I pulled up, distant, vague memories started sneaking in from deep within my mind. The front yard where ...

The Road

A travel blog entry by fsofield on Jul 11, 2009

It's our 1st day on the road, As I'm laying on my bunk I feel like I've driven right out of the pages of the "Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" minus the debauchery of course. Not to brag but our bus is awesome! 3 bunk beds and a table the only thing that can top it has been the scenery. The Cascades have to be the most beautiful mountains I have every seen up close. The pine trees there grow so thick and close together they look like blades of grass on a ...
